THE STORY:
At the end of 2002, I had pretty much decided that things had to change as far as the live situation was concerned. People started getting cranky, no one was getting paid (including me), & we had played a dud or two along the way. Z100 was putting their annual Meet Market on at Webster Hall, and with the opportunity to perform in the Grand Ballroom staring me in the face, I had to find a way to make it work. And the only way to do that was to pretty much make this "The Boon Show."

Webster Hall is a legendary DJ/dance club, so performing "Chew" or "Candle Wax" wasn't gonna cut it - plus, we were talking about a ballroom full of nearly 1000 people who we weren't about to disappoint - so we got creative & interweaved "jams" (BFoot & I playing instruments over Boon's DJ set) & 4 original Q tunes over 45 minutes. We got an interesting array of females to dance on stage while we performed, and it was a pretty successful show.

This is the only time we ever performed "Q*Ball In Space," and it actually sounded damn good - the video you can sample is a montage of our on-stage antics during the show.
